Based in the Adelaide Hills, Beerenberg is a premium jam and condiment producer, with the unique positioning that all products are created at their family farm in South Australia. Their business issue was that due to the European look of their labelling and website, they were often mistaken for an imported producer.
The brief was to rebrand Beerenberg, sharing the company's deep heritage in the Adelaide Hills and moving away from the traditional European imagery associated with the name. Retaining Beerenberg's family story was crucial in maintaining the core essence of the brand, our task was to bring the brand into a premium positioning whilst showcasing the love, integrity and homegrown ingredients that go into every jar. With strong provenance cues and illustrative design elements, each product was named in honour of a staff or family member. Imagery and copy work together to convey the personal touch that goes into their making. This visual and written tone was rolled out across all communication touch points from the new website, point-of-sale and to all digital assets.
